First of all, it is very difficult to count into an 8 deck shoe. Most people card count on double deck and single deck. If they are putting the cards back into the machine after 20 have come out, you can't get an accurate count.

<a href=""></a>

There is absolutely no advantage to be gained by counting cards when a continuous shuffle machine (CSM) is being used. None!

These machine were specifically designed to STOP card counting. Years ago there were some exploits possible on the early versions of these machines, called clumping tracking, this is no longer the case.

There is a system that does work in Blackjack with some success against the CSM called the Blackjack Betting Trigger, which does not use a card counting method to produce a player advantage.

Good Luck!

<a href=""></a>

The best games to count cards are single and double deck BJ. Eight deck can still be counted to advantage, except in your situation where there is constant shuffling. Don't bother trying to count that game. Other than that, I agree completely with the person who posted just before me. The first couple responses were ridiculous.

<a href="http://www.rushmr.net/searchquery/RushMoore">Rushmore Online Casino</a>

The shuffling procedure you describe would be impossible to attack for profit, however i will provide some info on the situation.

There are two types of shuffling machines, they are known as CSMs and ASMs

ASMs shuffle the whole shoe after one shoe is dealt, basically they speed up the game by shuffling a fresh shoe whiel one is being dealt, whent he shoe is over, the dealer doesnt have to shuffle the cards but rather just switch the shoe with the freshly shuffled one in the machine, These types of machines are not a threat to card counting very much except for the fact that a casino, if they chose to, could reduce penetration with no penalty of game efficiency.

CSMs shufle the cards dealt in one hand back into the internal "shoe" after each hand is dealt, in a sense they shuffle the cards after every hand making card counting ***ALMOST*** impossible, i say almost because there are EXTREMELY advanced techniques which have been devised that take advantage of flaws in the inner working of the machines mostly revolving arond time delays, or clusters of cards never becomeing seperated, that actually can detect a real legitament advantage at certain times, i old, outdates CSMs this edge was almost as large as in a regular game, but in todays newer more modern machines, their designs have almost made it impossibel to do so, or you will only see the tiniest edge over the house making it not worth while.

For both machines, the sometimes break, this means that the game stops and can no longer be dealt, dealers dont break or get their hands jammed in the shoe forcign the game to stop, so that is a prop for the casino.

Also in a nutshell, most card counters dotn play efficiently enough to actually make money, so off all the card counters put together, the casino makes money off them, if they disalowed card coutnign by making it impossible, they sould actually lose money.

Its not the end of card couting, it will always be around.

If they reshuffle then it's impossible to count cards because the count goes back to zero every time you shuffle
